Product Description
The Fullex MK2 2-point inline sliding patio door lock (Pin on Lock) is the original mechanism fitted to thousands of uPVC and aluminium sliding patio doors across the UK and Ireland, particularly in properties built during the late 1990s and 2000s. This listing is for the Pin on Lock (MK2) version, where the spring-loaded push pin is built into the lock case on the sliding door panel.
When the sliding door is pushed fully closed, the push pin on the lock body strikes a flat strikeplate on the fixed outer frame and depresses inward, enabling the lever handle to operate. Lifting the handle extends two round-headed locking bolts through the faceplate into keeps on the fixed frame. Turning the euro cylinder then deadlocks the mechanism, securing the door.
Three backset sizes are available — 18.75mm, 25.75mm, and 28.75mm — measured from the front edge of the faceplate to the centre of the euro cylinder keyhole. Select the backset that matches your existing lock precisely. Some older locks may be labelled 19mm, 26mm, or 29mm — these are the same sizes rounded.
What's Included
This listing is for the lock gearbox unit only.
The following items are NOT included and must be re-used from your existing installation or purchased separately:

Backset Quick Reference
Use either the backset (faceplate edge to cylinder centre) or the overall cylinder case width
(faceplate edge to back of case) to confirm your variant:
| Backset | Overall Case Width | Often Labelled As |
|---|---|---|
| 18.75mm | 34.75mm | ~19mm |
| 25.75mm | 41.75mm | ~26mm |
| 28.75mm | 44.75mm | ~29mm |
Overall case widths shown are based on the MK1 (Pin on Frame) version. MK2 widths should be identical but please verify by measuring your existing lock.
How to Identify Your Lock
Step 1 — Confirm Pin on Lock (MK2)
Open your sliding patio door. Look at the edge of the lock body fitted in the sliding panel. If you can see a small spring-loaded push pin (plunger) protruding from the lock case, you have Pin on Lock (MK2) and this is the correct listing.
If the push pin is mounted in the fixed outer frame instead, you need our MK1 Pin on Frame listing.
Step 2 — Measure the Backset
Measure from the front edge of the faceplate to the centre of the euro cylinder keyhole.
Your measurement should be close to 18.75mm, 25.75mm, or 28.75mm.
Alternatively, measure the full width of the case at the cylinder area and match against the overall widths above.
Step 3 — Check the Faceplate
Confirm your faceplate width is 19mm.
If it is 22mm or wider, you may have a different Fullex patio lock variant.
Step 4 — Confirm PZ Centres
Measure from the centre of the square spindle hole to the centre of the euro cylinder keyhole.
This should be approximately 52mm.
Before You Buy — Checklist

☐ I have checked my faceplate width is 19mm
☐ I have confirmed my PZ centres are approximately 52mm
☐ I understand keeps, bolts, faceplate, handles, and cylinder are NOT included
