The Trojan 3D Composite Door Hinge is a fully adjustable, rebated butt hinge engineered for composite doors. It gives fabricators and installers complete control over door alignment — height, lateral and compression — either in the factory or on site, so the slab hangs square with an even reveal every time.
Supplied pre-assembled with a detachable sash piece, the door slab lifts cleanly off the frame for fast, single-handed installation. Three hinges carry up to 100kg, making it ideal for larger and triple-glazed composite doors, while the rebated fitment keeps the sightline neat and unobtrusive.
| Replacing a worn or dropped hinge? Swap it out if the door is catching on the frame, dropping at the latch, binding at the top, or the covers and caps are cracked. The 3D adjustment lets you re-square an older door in minutes once the new hinge is on. |

Technical Specifications
On-Site Adjustment
All three planes adjust with the door hung. Prise off the covers with your fingers to expose the screws. You'll need a flat screwdriver, a 4mm Allen key and a 6mm socket (a combined adjustment tool is available separately).
| 01 | Height — back off the socket screw a small amount (about 1/3 turn) with a 4mm Allen key to free up-and-down movement, lever the door to height, then retighten. Repeat on all hinges. |
| 02 | Side-to-side — remove the cap to expose the hex pin, back off the screw at least one full turn, then rotate the hex pin with a 6mm socket to move the door left or right. Adjust one hinge at a time, then retighten. |
| 03 | Compression — back off the two screws clamping the slide plate to the frame plate, lever the slide plate in or out with a flat screwdriver to set the seal, support the door, retighten and refit the covers. |

Frequently Asked Questions
How many hinges do I need?
A standard composite door uses three hinges, which together carry up to 100kg. Heavier or oversized slabs should be checked against the 100kg / 1m × 2.2m limit.
Will it fit my door?
It replaces existing rebated composite-door butt hinges. Check the sash piece footprint (90mm × 34mm) against your current hinge before ordering, and confirm your door is within 1m wide × 2.2m high.
Can I adjust it without taking the door off?
Yes. Height, lateral and compression are all adjustable in situ with the door hung — just prise off the covers to access the screws.
What tools do I need?
A flat screwdriver for compression, a 4mm Allen key for height and a 6mm socket for the lateral hex pin. A single combined adjustment tool is available separately.
Is the silver finish still available?
Silver is offered while limited remaining stock lasts. White and brown are stocked on an ongoing basis.
How to Adjust the Door Laterally (Side-to-Side)
Follow the steps in order. Free off only one hinge at a time — unless you are adjusting the height at the same time — so the door stays supported throughout.
| 01 | Remove the covers by prising them off with your fingers to expose the clamp and socket screw (C). |
| 02 | Back the screw off with a 4 mm Allen key by at least one full turn. Free off only one hinge at a time, unless you are adjusting the height at the same time. |
| 03 | Remove the cap with a screwdriver to expose the hex pin (D). |
| 04 | Insert the 6 mm socket spanner over the hex pin and rotate to move the door left or right as required. |
| 05 | Tighten the screw back up to secure and replace the covers when finished. |
