Measure before ordering
Measure from the centre of the cylinder fixing screw to each end of the cylinder body. The first measurement in the size option is the internal thumbturn side; the second is the external key side. Do not include the projecting thumbturn in the body measurement. For example, 40 Thumbturn / 45 means 40mm internally and 45mm externally, with an 85mm cylinder body overall.
This cylinder is handed: the sacrificial section must face outside. Check both measurements against your door and handle arrangement, and follow Yale's fitting instructions. The illustration is a measuring guide; body proportions vary with the selected size.
