A genuine Fuhr replacement centre gearbox with a 45mm backset, 92mm PZ centres and an 8mm single-spindle follower. Suitable for compatible Fuhr multipoint door locks using lift-lever operation.

Check the fit before ordering

Match the measurements, case shape, latch and screw positions to your existing gearbox. A matching backset alone does not confirm compatibility. This is the centre case, not a complete multipoint locking strip.

• Backset: 45mm from the front of the faceplate to the handle spindle centre.
• PZ centres: 92mm from the spindle centre to the centre of the cylinder's circular section.
• Case body: 194mm high × 60mm wide, as shown in the supplier's technical specification.
• Spindle: 8mm single follower.
• Locking: latch and deadbolt; compatible Euro-profile cylinder required.
• Handing: reversible latch for left- or right-handed doors.

Operation and compatibility

Lift the handle to engage the locking points, then turn the key to lock the system. Check your existing handle and spindle arrangement before replacing the case.

Fuhr latch designs have changed over time. Compare the existing latch with the photographs and its keep before fitting. This gearbox is supplied with the internal ball bearing and spring pre-fitted, as specified by Duffells.
