This is the genuine ERA bi-fold hook box for Warmcore (Synseal) and Liniar folding door systems. It carries the deadlocking hook that throws into the keep to pull the folding leaf tight against the frame and hold it secure. This is the hook box only — not the handle and cylinder-operated centre gearbox — and it is one of the parts most likely to wear, round off or seize on a bi-fold lock strip. Replacing just the hook box restores positive locking without renewing the whole mechanism.

The bi-fold hook is unique and is not the same as the hook used on standard composite or uPVC doors, so this fits bi-fold door systems only. It bolts onto your existing Warmcore or Liniar lock strip on 98mm screw centres. Supplied singly — one hook box per purchase.

Frequently asked questions
Is this the centre gearbox?
No. This is the hook box only — the part that carries the deadlocking hook. The handle and cylinder-operated centre gearbox is a separate component.
Will it fit my door?
It suits Warmcore (Synseal) and Liniar bi-fold systems. The bi-fold hook is unique and will not fit standard composite or uPVC doors. Check the 98mm screw centres and 140mm length against your existing hook box before ordering.
How do I fit it?
Expose the leaf's lock strip, unscrew the old hook box and bolt the new one on using the same 98mm screw centres. Refit and check the hook throws cleanly into the keep before final tightening.
How many do I get?
One hook box per purchase. Order the quantity you need if you are replacing more than one.
